DisAbuse a 2yr Erasmus+ project to help prevent and counter disablist bullying, creating support for SEN/D individuals and those who work with them.

DISABUSE's aim is to help prevent and counter disablist bullying. We will do this by learning from the experiences of those in the SEN/SEND community, at both youth and adult level, and the research surrounding them, to highlight the right kind of supports necessary to empower them and those that work with them. Ultimately we aim to create an ongoing support module that will be available online to

E-learning with DisAbuse Fighting prejudice-based bullying with a new course on the Elisa Platform.

"Brick by brick, students, accompanied by teachers and psychologists, work against the H factor of bullying to support people with disabilities and special needs (BES), developing new skills and models of inclusive socialization. The results of the first experimentation of the European project DisAbuse, which involved 4 countries, were presented [...]".

Before participating at DisAbuse only 48.7% of the professionals involved believed they could identify cases of , the percentage exceeded 80% after completing the training.

Among students and adults with and only 62.5% admitted to being able to defend themselves in case of , now it is 85.9%.

These are just some of the results achieved and shared during the International Conference held last Friday at Fondazione Mondo Digitale
