Project Completion – Fit-Out Delivered for ALTAVAIR.

We’re delighted to announce the successful completion of a full office fit-out for Altavair Limited at their new premises on Harcourt Road, in Dublin 2.

The project involved a complete redesign of the workspace layout, incorporating a mix of meeting rooms, conference pods, neighbourhood-style open-plan workstations, and a vibrant new social café area designed to encourage collaboration and connection.

The design aesthetic blends industrial exposed ceilings with warm natural wood flooring, creating a striking contrast between raw and refined finishes. Carefully considered acoustic spacing and tailored interior solutions were implemented to ensure the space achieves the perfect balance between functionality and visual impact.

Altavair’s brand identity played a central role in shaping the café environment, complemented by sculptural lighting features and high-performance acoustic elements.

Biophilic design principles were introduced throughout, framing natural light and maximising the impressive views across the Dublin cityscape.

It has been an absolute pleasure collaborating with the Altavair team to bring this vision to life. We wish them every success in their new home!

We were thrilled to be involved in the design of the fit out of Alchemy Technology Services new state-of-the-art office in Derry/Londonderry in 2025, which reflects the company's ambitious growth plans in the region.

Alchemy became the first tenants of the Grade A Ebrington Plaza site and the occasion was marked with the office being opened by the First and Deputy First ministers.

The design of EY's Office marked the second fit out that we completed in the BREEAM excellent Ebrington Plaza site in conjunction with Heron Bros.

The design of this fit out reflects the company values of EY and demonstrates EY's commitment to investing in the people of Derry/Londonderry.

We are excited to share that our work on the Flogas Fit out project at Dublin Airport Central has been recognised by the IDI 2025 Awards and has been nominated in the Commercial Design category.

The SLMD team recently had a fantastic trip to Clerkenwell Design Week in London. It was a great opportunity for us to explore the newest designs and gather inspiration for our upcoming projects.

We all enjoyed the experience, returning with fresh ideas and insights into current trends.

   

Project Completion Update!

We were thrilled to work on another project with our client Flogas Ireland on their recent move to their new offices at Dublin Airport Central.

The services we provided in this project included:

- Development of the strategic brief, workplace analysis, and property business case

- Shortlisted building appraisal with individual cost plan modelling

- Feasibility studies, design due diligence, and forecasting spatial analysis

- Concept design, CGIs, and 3D walkthroughs

- Technical design, drawings and NBS specifications

- FFE design with furniture tender management

- Project management, Tender management/analysis and contracts administration

- Driving sustainability in design and construction process for a LEED Gold fit-out in a LEED Gold building
