WE ARE BACK!
Brickx Club will be returning to Sandyford Community Centre on the 12th of September for another fun-filled, action-packed term!
Brickx Club is a creative Lego building club that encourages our little builders to use their creativity, problem-solving skills and social skills. Each week, we build under a theme in a fun, stress-free environment.
Our classes are located in Sandyford Community Centre and are suited to primary school age children.
CLASS DETAILS FOR TERM 1:
✔️Location: Sandyford Community Centre
✔️Day: Thursday
✔️Times: 4-5pm or 5:30-6:30pm
✔️Dates: Thursday 12th of September- October 24th
✔️Pricing- 70 euro for child attending alone (10 euro per class)
✔️112 euro for two siblings attending together (8 euro per child per class)
✔️Friends attending together may access the sibling discount (please state at time of booking)
✔️Payments can be made by cash, cheque or PayPal

NEW TERM STARTING MAY 2ND❣️⚡️🎉🎊
Our new term will run for seven weeks (2/5/19- 13/6/19). Classes will be held in Sandyford Community Centre on Thursdays at 3:30-4:30 and 4:45-5:45.
Pricing for the term are as follows:
1 child- 70 euro (€10 per child per class)
2 siblings attending together-112 euro (€8 per child per class)
3 siblings attending together 168 (€8 per child per class)
Friends attending together may also avail of a sibling discount- invite a friend and mention this when booking a place to avail of the discount!

To round off a great term, we revisited some basic building skills with some building challenges- tallest/ sturdiest tower in 15 minute, pyramids + walls.
We finished up with a free build which produced an Easter bunny 🐰 swipe⏩⏩ to see!

Creative building today under our theme of ‘Lego City’.
Teamwork was the name of the game as each builder picked two things to build and contribute to our Lego city, combining creations at the end.
We had pools, schools, restaurants, shops, ports, parks, skyscrapers and more.
Creative building is building with minimal intervention from the facilitator- these types of classes are great for stimulating creativity, problem-solving and team work ☺️

Back after midterm with a bang in our 3:30 class💥
We did a creative build today under the theme of ‘homes’. Today, I saw all the different skills developed across the last term sewn together in a creative way to make tree houses, mansions, superhero homes, beach houses, boats houses, robot houses and caves!
This is one of my favorite types of classes to do as it really engages their creativity. They are given a theme and basic visual prompt- the only limit is their own imagination! 💭

Calling all LEGO fanatics aged 4-12!
Our after-school classes in Sandyford Community Centre will return this Thursday at 3:30 and 4:45 ☺️
Classes are one hour in duration and give our little builders an opportunity to engage in wide variety of building themes and challenges that encourage them to us their imagination, creativity, problem-solving and social skills.
This term will run for seven weeks, from the 28/2/19- 11/4/19. The fees for the term as follows:
>one child attending- 70 euro for term (10 euro per class)
>two siblings attending- 112 euro for term (8 euro per child per class)
>three siblings attending- 168 for term (8euro per child per class)

Feeling the 💜 in our 3:30 class today.
Valentine’s inspired Lego and free creative builds to celebrate our last day of this term.
Our next term in Sandyford Community Centre will start on Thursday the 28th of February and will run for 7 weeks. Contact us for more details!

Some pictures from the 3:30 class today!
We made our name in Lego letters- using visual prompts the builders were asked to build their names.
As letters come in many different shapes with different angles and curves, our builders really had to use problem-solving skills. They experimented with different sized bricks, assessed if letters were built correctly and adjusted as necessary. Amazing results 😊
