The MSc in Sustainable Development (part-time / full-time) at TU Dublin Environment & Planning

The MSc in Sustainable Development at TU Dublin Environment & Planning is a postgraduate programme in Sustainable Development, with part-time and full-time options. The next course intake is September 2020.

The MSc Sustainable Development is structured to build on existing knowledge and allow students to apply the principles and practices of sustainable development to their own field of expertise or employment. The course also offers opportunities to deepen knowledge in chosen areas of energy, environment, community development or planning.

Lectures take place in a structured basis and allow for a work placement component, as well as part-time students who may be in employment. The programme is based at TU Dublin Bolton Street Campus, halfway between the new TU Dublin Grangegorman sustainable campus and Dublin city centre, both within 10 minutes walking distance.

Further information about the programme and details of how to apply are available here.
For individual queries, contact Programme Chairperson, Dr. Ken Boyle: [email protected]

Another fantastic event organised by TUDublin EPS Society. This was an informal meeting with the Dublin City Council Chief Executive Eoin Keegan. The event consisted mostly of a dialogue between the audience and the Chief Executive about planning in Dublin.

This event was great and was organised as a part of Planning Week 2019. This event consisted of a dialogue between Damian English, Minister for State, and Jim Corr, Irish Planning Institute President, about planning issues today in Dublin City. Questions were taken from the audience which led to a lively debate. This was a student initiative and was organised by the TUDublin EPS society. Excellent work.

Breaking: the next mass extinction event is already underway 09/04/2019

An article by TU Dublin Environment and Planning lecturer Ken Boyle published in RTE's Brainstorm.

Breaking: the next mass extinction event is already underway Opinion: there have been five mass extinctions in the past and there is much evidence, including the disappearance of several species, to suggest the sixth may already be happening
