Southeast and East Asia Society (SEA Soc) was established from PMCSA in May 2019. PMCSA was initially founded to serve as a platform to support and connect students completing their medical degree under the RCSI-RUMC twinning programme in RCSI. Over the years, the Society has evolved, to include Malaysian students not under the RCSI-RUMC twinning programme, and non-Malaysian students alike, in particular students from Southeast and East Asia.
