Ongar Community Centre is looking for a Centre Attendant to join our team!

This is a paid position, working 5 days across Monday to Sunday.

The role involves a mix of administrative and hands-on duties, helping with the day-to-day running of the Centre and supporting the various activities and groups within our community.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and happy to get involved in all aspects of Centre operations.

As part of Active Cities Week, we’re hosting an Adults Badminton Tournament at Ongar Community Centre this Saturday, 26th September, from 4pm–6pm! 🏆

Westmanstown Rugby Club are hosting two open training sessions at 10am on Sunday September 13th and 20th in St. Catherine’s Park (pitches behind the playground). This is open to all girls and boys aged 6 - 12. We hope lots of girls and boys come give rugby a try!

Rugby is a great sport for children as it builds strong physical health, vital social skills like teamwork and communication, and develops crucial mental skills such as resilience and decision-making.
