Today we had a special visit from the Garda, children learned all about the work the Garda do and had great fun using all the equipment and having a turn in the Garda car 👮♂️🚔🚨

This week in Montessori Room children learnt all about healthy food. We did lots of activities including food tasting, games, art and crafts.

One of the main benefits of sensory play for preschoolers is that it encourages them to use their senses to explore their environment and discover new things. This then helps them develop their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as they learn to make connections and identify patterns.
Sensory play also enhances memory and attention span, as children need to remember and recall information about the different textures, colours, and materials they are interacting with.

This week children in Montessori Room learnt all about 'Under the Sea'. They enjoyed doing sensory activities and making lively arts and craft 🐢🐠🦀

This week Montessori Children learnt all about Life on the farm. They had a lot of fun milking a 🐄 ,
feeding the farm animals and painting 😊 We did lots of activities including maths concepts for example Hen and Eggs game.
