The Lassus Scholars, a choir of Dublin Choral Foundation CLG (RCN 20038410), is a chamber choir with a difference - its main focus is on music-education.

The Lassus Scholars, named after the great Renaissance composer Orlande de Lassus, seek to achieve excellence in expression and interpretation in all musical styles from the 16th century to the present day. Priority is given to imparting musical-literacy skills to young adults, particularly singers with ambitions to make music - and choral music in particular - their career.

Darling Ronnie, there is a great void in the world since you departed this life but your spirit will continue to live in the voices of generations of singers whom you nurtured and encouraged. You were Patron of Dublin Choral Foundation since its inception in 1996 and we had many wonderful moments together, particularly when organising your 80th and 90th Birthday Concerts at the NCH. We will miss you and mourn your loss ... In paradisum deducant te Angeli ...
