Creative artists have been busy this month

Happy Hallowe'en wishes from all of our creative artists

Congratulations to our Girls' Gaelic Team on their great success today in qualifying for their Cumann na mBunscol final next week in Croke Park. We are all so proud of you, and we are grateful to your inspiring coaches Mr. Allen and Mr. Jones.

Delighted with our new enclosed play space outside Room 20. Some more work still happening over the next few weeks to make sure it is ready for the children to use. Thanks to those involved in making this project a realisation!

Work completed on our Junior Infant playground. Very happy with the result. I hope the children will love it when school re-opens after the summer!

Work has started on the re-surfacing of the Junior Playground - made possible by Parental Voluntary Contributions and Fundraising by our PTA.

2 fantastic weeks of our first ever School-Based Summer Programme came to an end today! Thanks to all the children, parents/guardians and staff involved!

As the school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to give a heartfelt thank you to two incredible members of our PTA – Judy and Nicola – whose children are finishing their time at the school, and who will sadly be leaving the PTA.

Both Judy and Nicola have been tireless in their efforts, giving so much of their time, energy, and creativity to fundraising and supporting our events over the years. Whether it was planning, setting up,cleaning up,organising, fundraising or rolling up their sleeves behind the scenes, they have made a lasting impact on our school community.

We’d especially like to recognise Judy, who has gone above and beyond by volunteering in the school library twice a week, every single week. Her dedication has helped foster a love of reading in so many of our children and has been a truly special part of school life and I’ll never know how she remembers all their names 😀
Thank you, Judy and Nicola, for everything you’ve done. You’ll be greatly missed, and we wish you and your families all the best in this next chapter!
