Poland secures a historic victory on the global cinema stage. Director Paweł Pawlikowski took home the coveted Best Director prize at the Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony on Saturday for his brilliant postwar drama “Fatherland.”

Congratulations to Mr Grzegorz Sala of Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Belfast. Professional diplomacy reworded. The Polish community in NI strong and visible as never before.
