A check-in from our TY students on exchange in South Africa. 🇿🇦
Simon, Tom and Robin are loving life at Kearsney College. They've been playing and watching lots of rugby, cheering on the The Sharks (their local professional rugby team in Durban), and heading out on safari adventures.
Enjoy the last couple of weeks lads!

We enjoyed a wonderful evening in the school after the service at University Church. Great to see our Class of 2026 suited and booted and enjoying the celebrations with their families and teachers.

There were many laughs (and a few tears!) as they watched a video presentation reeling in their CUS years!

Congratulations once again to our Class of 2026.

Last week we celebrated the Graduation of our Class of 2026. We began with mass at the University Church on Thursday morning, celebrated by Fr. Cormac, followed by breakfast back at the school for our 6th years and their parents.

On Friday evening we returned to the University Church for an evening of music and reflection, followed by the Awards Ceremony. We then returned to the school again and enjoyed a delicious spread of refreshments.

This was a wonderful celebration for a wonderful cohort of students. We are so very proud of their many achievements and wish them every success in their upcoming Leaving Certificate exams and their future lives. Keep in touch with us here at 89!

Our sincere thanks to everyone who played a role in these celebrations. Huge thanks to the RE and music departments, to CUSPA, to the parents, teachers and staff for making it such a memorable evening.

Today, TY F1 put their cars to the test. Over the past year, students researched, designed, and 3D printed their own race cars before racing them at high speed using compressed gas canisters for propulsion. A fantastic showcase of creativity, engineering, teamwork, and innovation throughout the year.
