For todays activity was time to talk about the sense of smell. First children were showed a variety of food ,then the same food were in some bowls but coverded this time, so kids were asked to guess which food was which, and the results was undeniable, they had a great time 🀣🀣

Senses part 2: sense of sightπŸ‘€ πŸ‘€ πŸ‘€ πŸ‘€

For today’s activity we talked about the sense of sight. Children had to first memorise some objects presented to them, then we took one object away and finally they have to guess which object was missing.

These kinds of visits help children to gain a broader understanding of the world in which they live and to see how different people play different roles within their local community.

A sensory walk is a great way to explore the sense of touch, especially for children with sensory processing needs.
With a sensory walk preschoolers get to engage in a variety of sensory play, show awareness of their body, follow adult guidance in regards to safety, and demonstrate willingness to try new activities.
