🚨🚨GUESS WHO’S BACK🚨🚨

I cannot imagine the pure despair that our members felt last week in the wake of their favourite society’s absence at the fresher’s fair😞 But hopefully the relief and ecstasy we now all feel knowing that Trinity’s arguably smallest society (get it, cuz micro🦠) is back and better than ever surpasses any sorrow in magnitude💅

To kick off the year, we’re hosting a coffee morning ☕️🥐 in the Moyne Kitchen on Monday, September 28th at 11am where we will also be electing our third year representative! All you have to do to run is just nominate yourself 🙋‍♀️ when the meeting begins and potentially give a little speech!

Be there or be a square agar plate🧫

Killer Peptide: From Antibody Cryptides to Pathogen-Responsive Immunopeptides

Antimicrobial resistance and biofilm infections require new solutions beyond traditional antibiotics. This seminar will explore the Killer Peptide (KP)—an antibody-derived peptide with broad antimicrobial and immune-modulating activity. Dr. Miguel Fernandez de Ulivarri will discuss how KP targets pathogens, forms self-assembling structures at infection sites, and inspires new strategies for next-generation anti-infective therapeutics.

✨ Refreshments will be provided after the seminar.

Everyone welcome!
