Tower View Montessori School

☀️ This week brought gorgeous sunshine, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the garden & outdoor activities.

💦We also focused on water safety, introducing the children to the Hold Hands programme & supporting them to understand safe habits around water.

The children had so much fun camping in the garden as we continued our holiday theme. There was plenty of excitement with play camping, cosy sleeping bags, and “toasting marshmallows” to make s’mores. They even sang a few songs around our pretend campfire!

A lovely week here at Tower View with lots of outdoor play & fresh air. The children have been busy observing our caterpillars getting bigger, checking on them each day with great curiosity.
There was huge excitement for our airport theme too, especially making our own passports. We’re all set for adventures ahead!

🐛There was great excitement in the classroom this week as we welcomed a very special delivery, our caterpillars!!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be observing them closely as they grow, change & eventually transform into beautiful butterflies. A lovely journey of wonder ahead. 🦋

🐞 We started learning all about bugs and insects this week. The children followed their natural curiosity outdoors, observing insects in the garden & chatting about what they noticed. In the mark‑making area, they created their own bugs. 🐞

We continued our farm theme this week with lots of hands‑on fun. Our little farmers loved visiting the farm shop role‑play area, exploring food groups & chatting about healthy choices.

Out in the garden, our little chefs got creative using real vegetables for cooking & sensory play.

🐷The children settled back in so well after the Easter break. This week we introduced our new theme: The Farm. We explored the animals who live there & learned the names of their babies. Lots of lovely conversations, sorting activities & imaginative play emerging already. A great start to the new term.🐔

The children had great fun at our Easter Egg Hunt this morning, so much excitement as they searched for their eggs! 🐣✨

This week we chatted about spring & the changes we’re starting to see. The children loved the beautiful weather & spent lots of time playing in the garden.

Tower View Florist is also now open, adding even more colour to our days! 🌷✨
