Join our upcoming fundraiser - A Night In for Ukraine 🇺🇦 ❤️

On Thursday, April 7th @ 7 pm, we will team up with .ie (along with other Brosna initiatives ( & .ie) to hold a fundraiser called a 'Night In for Ukraine' here at Glenard!

➡ Our sister residence, Ister, in Bratislava, Slovakia has opened its doors to Ukrainian women and children

➡ They are in need of funds to provide food, bedding, first aid equipment, clothes, etc.

➡ Our fundraiser is an opportunity to give directly. We are asking participants to donate the money they would spend on a night out to support them!

➡ This evening will include adoration, an info session on how your funds will help followed by an evening with music by the bonfire!

➡ We also have a GoFundMe link available for donations for those unable to attend (see our link in bio)

The past 2 years have been difficult for everyone and have really impacted us in the way we experience and live our day-to-day lives ...

Yet, we have gained a clearer understanding of the need to prioritise our mental health as much as we do our physical health. Anxiety has been on the rise, especially among young people, but the more we can learn about our mental health and implement coping strategies, the more we can reduce its negative impact on us.

Norella will speak to us on this topic of mental health, looking at how we can understand and work through anxiety. ➡

We hope all the residents who joined us over the weekend enjoyed our amazing tequila masterclass! We even got to try one of the best tequilas and made some delicious margaritas 👏🍹

We learned all about the production of this spirit, which originates from Mexico. The blue agave plant forms its base ingredient, which is harvested, cooked, and then crushed to extract the liquid. Finally, it goes through the fermentation and distillation process.

Very cool!! 🥳
