Retirement - Mr. Fred O'Brien
After 40 years of dedicated service, we bid a fond farewell to Mr. Fred O’Brien. A gifted French teacher, Fred brought learning to life with his wit, humour and unmistakable character. Early in his career, he was part of the Embury House community, and he remained a central figure in school life ever since.
Fred also made a lasting impact through his coaching on the rugby pitch. Many still recall the Junior Cup final of 1990 and the Senior League win of 2000, along with the many teams he helped shape and the proud legacy he built in Wesley sport.
We thank Fred sincerely for his enormous contribution to the College and wish him and his family every happiness in this next chapter.
