Our team will be happy to help with any questions or concerns you may have. Our committed teachers ensure lively lessons with plenty of variety. We will be happy to help you prepare for the examination of your choice. The program department organizes a broad range of events and supports projects in the fields of film and new media, arts, theatre and dance, music, literature, architecture and more.

The Library serves as a resource hub for all contemporary aspects of the social, political and cultural life in Germany and is a lending library of books and multimedia, open to anyone interested in Germany and the German language.

The German Career Roadshow “Choose a Career – Choose German(y)” is back on 16 October 2026. This roadshow offers an engaging platform for young people to explore the career opportunities that German(y) opens up for school and university graduates. Participants will have the chance to talk to experts, gain insights into the German job market, and discover how German can enhance their career prospects in an increasingly globalized economy.

Goethe-Institut Irland is hosting this event in cooperation with German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Deutsche Botschaft Dublin / German Embassy Dublin online from 10am to 1pm.

Mark the date: you can register your secondary and third level German students for Unternehmen Deutsch 2026/2027 from 1 October 2026!

Unternehmen Deutsch is a project promoting business German for Irish schools and universities that brings together learners of German and German companies in Ireland.

Deadline for registrations is 15 January 2027, followed by an online kick-off event.

We loved spending Culture Night Dublin with you in 2025 and we can't wait to do it again on 18 September 2026!

Whether you’re looking to explore a different culture, a new language or hear some up and coming live music on Culture Night – at Goethe-Institut Irland, you'll find it.

We will have Shadow Theatre for Children, a talk and spoken word/musical performance from Peter Murphy, a DJ set, free book in a bag, German Taster Classes, an interactive exhibition, as well as beer and pretzels and Club Mate tasting with Repeat Drinks.

Our school visits to Goethe-Institut Irland will start up again this September: provide your students with a direct and personal look into German language and culture! We would be delighted to welcome your school groups to the Goethe-Institut Irland.

Depending on the age group and language level of your students, you can choose a programme from a range of activities for your trip to the Goethe-Institut Irland.

Children's Courses: Meet the Teachers - 5 September 2026, 10 am-1pm

We are offering interested parents and their children the opportunity to get to know the children's courses at the Goethe-Institut Irland.

Meet our teachers, learn about our children's courses starting again on 12 September, and enrol.

Places are available in all courses for bilingual children and for children aged 4–14 who are learning German as a foreign language.
