🌙 EID AT CROKE PARK — A CELEBRATION OF FAITH, UNITY & COMMUNITY ☪️🇮🇪

As Muslims, Eid is one of the most beautiful days in our faith: a day of gratitude to Allah, a day of prayer, family, charity, unity, and coming together as one Ummah.

In recent weeks, there have been discussions around Eid at Croke Park and whether such a large gathering should continue because of negativity from a small minority seeking to spread fear and division.

We reflected deeply on this.

But we believe we cannot allow hatred to silence our presence, our faith, or our contribution to Irish society.

Eid at Croke Park is not simply an event. It is a powerful reminder that Muslims are a valued part of Ireland’s future; living peacefully, contributing positively, and celebrating our deen openly and proudly while respecting everyone around us.

Allah teaches us unity, patience, wisdom, and good character. Through gatherings like this, we show the true beauty of Islam: peace, compassion, family, generosity, and community spirit.

We are sincerely grateful to the GAA and the management at Croke Park for welcoming the Muslim community with openness and respect. Their support sends a powerful message of inclusion and mutual understanding.

Safety remains a priority. Gardaí and event management teams will be present to ensure a safe and family-friendly atmosphere for all attendees.

This year’s Eid celebration will include:

🤝 Muslim families and communities from across Ireland coming together
🇮🇪 Government ministers and community representatives attending
📸 Social media influencers helping share positive stories about Muslims and combating misunderstandings
🍽️ Over 20 stalls and vendors with food, desserts, jewellery, henna, clothing, gifts, and more
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A joyful environment for families, children, and the wider community
