Thank you so much to The International Literature Festival Dublin for inviting me to host my Journaling Workshops for Wellbeing in Merrion Square today. I dreamed of giving this workshop at the festival last year and it came true today.
Thank you to the beautiful workshop participants (especially Ariana a past writing student )who showed up with enthusiasm, shared their insights and asked brilliant questions. 😃🥳

During my journaling workshops at The International Literature Festival Dublin tomorrow, I shall be reading an extract from my first hardback journal which I wrote it between the ages 13-17 years. It’s full of fights with friends and who I had a crush on! If you’re interested in hearing these juicy details and exploring your own thoughts, feelings and visions come along! A children journaling workshop is from 10-11am and an adult workshop is from 2.30-4pm. We will deep dive into visions, goals and the inner workings of our minds.

I’m so looking forward to giving my Journaling workshops for Well Being at The International Literature Festival Dublin next Saturday 23 May. The venue is Merrion Square which is bursting with beauty and greenery. This week I received a beautiful testimonial from a participant at my Journaling Workshop in for the Bealtaine festival with
“I signed up for this workshop not knowing what to expect- what I found was a deeply powerful and inspiring experience. For many years my own fears and lack of confidence had me frozen when I tried to put words on paper, and now Megan’s honesty about her own challenges and easy to follow practical exercises have helped me begin to unlock this. Highly recommend this to anyone at any level.” Aine, Finglas. Would love to see you this Saturday in Merrion Square! 😀

Im so excited to be delivering a Jounaling workshop for Well Being to adults this evening in Phibsboro library for the Bealtaine festival with . I’ll be talking about The Artists Way by which I bought in 1998 in New Zealand while on honeymoon. Her Morning Pages became an invaluable addition to my journaling habit. I still journal every morning. Thank you so much Julia Cameron 🙏🩷

We’ll be practicing all my favourite journaling exercises to free the mind of clutter, label what we’re feeling and write visions for our lives. I hope for packed houses! I didn’t sleep well last night. It happens when I’ve too much going on in my head or I didn’t get enough exercise. Sometimes I don’t know why it happens. But this is what I do: I write down everything I’m feeling and why I’m feeling it. This takes a while (but not as long as you might think) and when I run out of feelings, my mind becomes empty and my heart rate slows. I put the pen down, turn out the lamp and drift off to sleep. It’s like magic! My mind believes I have done something about the issues and lets them go. And, 9 out of 10 times, I go back to sleep. What do you do if you’re having difficulty sleeping? i

The best book I’ve read this year. I loved the main character. She is so real and is living on in my heart long after I finished it. Thank you for such a moving story. 🙏
