Huge congratulations to Abigail Meredith, Class of 2025, who received three awards at the UCD ceremony👏🎓

Now studying Science at UCD, Abigail was recognized as an Entrance Scholar—awarded to first-year students who achieve the highest Leaving Certificate points from their school (minimum 500 points).

In addition, she received a Choral Scholar Award and a UCD Gaeltacht Scholarship—an outstanding achievement🌟

Gaeltacht UCD awards scholarships to 24 fluent Irish speakers each year who show the initiative and ability to promote the language. The 2026-2027 competition opens on 2 March 2026!
