We are honoured to receive this significant support from Music Network. The Irish Institute of Music and Song (IIMS), home to The Lark Concert Hall at the IIMS, is a non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming Ireland’s musical landscape by expanding access to world-class music education, performance opportunities and experiences for all.
The arrival of a Steinway B grand piano at The Lark Concert Hall will be a milestone in our mission. It will enrich live performances for audiences, elevate the artistry of musicians who record here, and provide a standard of excellence that inspires all who engage with our work.
For the 1,100 students who learn with us on campus and through our outreach programmes in schools, this instrument will be more than a piano. It will represent Ireland’s commitment to excellence in music showing that a significant organisation like Music Network values the work we are doing at community, national, and international levels. For our students, it will stand as both an inspiration and a challenge: a standard of artistry they can strive to reach.
