ADHD project in Trinity College Dublin We are a research team in the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience. Our aim is to explore the neuro-psychological characteristics of ADHD and anxiety.

Who are we? The Translational Clinical Neuroscience Group is based in the Trinity College Neuroscience Institute (at Trinity College Dublin). Our aim is to understand how certain symptoms emerge from the brain, and to translate this knowledge for use in the real-world. What is ADHD? Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is psychiatric condition. The essential features are patterns of imp

ulsivity and/or hyperactivity and/or inattention. ADHD is not only a childhood condition; it is estimated that 5% of adults are affected, worldwide. The nature of ADHD during adulthood is still being researched through scientific research. What are we doing? We are studying the experience of ADHD in adults. Our questions include: What are the psychological and familial characteristics of ADHD? What are the mental health challenges for adults with ADHD?
