Skills Requirements
A solid understanding of the role of the Community Employment Supervisor as it pertains to project management and programme delivery to participants. Display responsibility, commitment and motivation to implement the objectives of the Community Employment CE Programme. Previous supervisory and people management experience relevant to the post and previous experience in Administration, Project Management and/or Training or other relevant positions: IT skills are essential e.g. Microsoft office. Effective communication skills, Competent report writing skills; Capable of directing, motivating, coaching and mentoring jobseekers; Ability to work under the direction of the Sponsoring Organisation for the effective implementation of the CE Programme.
Description
Duties will include: To ensure the co-ordination and efficient direction of the community employment project to include participants, financial and material resources under their control, in order to achieve the stated aims and purpose of the community employment project. You will also ensure that a close and harmonious relationship is maintained between the work of the project and the services already in operation. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office programme and have a high level of keyboard skills. A relevant major award at 3rd Level (NFQ Level 6 or higher) are essential. Previous experience in a leadership/supervisory role is essential.
