Proof that not every successful drive happens on a golf course. ⛳😉

Before founding Optima Digital, TU Dublin alumnus Caolán Kennedy represented Ireland as a competitive golfer. The discipline and drive he developed on the course have shaped his journey as an entrepreneur.

From TU Dublin to founder, Caolán’s story is a reminder that success is built one step (or swing) at a time.

A huge congratulations to everyone marking this important milestone today after years of hard work.

As attention now turns to CAO offers on Wednesday, it’s already a record year for TU Dublin. More than 30,000 applicants have applied for 2026/27, making us the most applied-to higher education institution in Ireland.

The College of Marketing and Design Class is coming together in Dublin to celebrate 40 years since graduation.

🎭 TU Dublin alumni on screen!

Our B.A. (Hons) Drama (Performance) Class of 2025 are set to feature in RTÉ’s upcoming documentary, A Day in May: 10 Years On from the Marriage Equality Referendum.

The documentary reflects on how perspectives on marriage equality have evolved since the landmark 2015 referendum, featuring highlights from TU Dublin Conservatoire’s 2025 production of A Day in May by Colin Murphy, created with Charlie Bird, alongside interviews with members of the cast.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Glen Hansard, an esteemed musician and iconic figure in the Irish music industry.

In 2016, TU Dublin Societies (formally DIT) were honoured to present Glen with the inaugural Brendan Behan Award, recognising his outstanding contribution to music and the arts.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues, and all those who were touched by his remarkable talent and work.
