Leading Healthcare Providers Skillnet is honoured to have won the award for Healthcare Initiative for Older Persons Care Services-Private Sector at the Healthcare Centre Awards last night for the Diploma in Gerontological Nursing Initiative (DiGNI). 🎉
This initiative which was funded by the Department of Health - Ireland and managed by LHP Skillnet supported 398 Nurses working within private nursing homes in Ireland to complete their postgraduate diploma in Gerontological Nursing over the past 2 years (2024-2026). 🎓

A special thanks to the Department of Health - Ireland, Rachel Simons and Laura Casey for their ongoing support and to the participating universities School of Nursing and Healthcare, Atlantic Technological University, School of Nursing and Midwifery, University College Cork, School of Nursing & Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin,RCSI School of Nursing and Midwifery.
