Our modern, purpose-built facility is located on Aungier Street, in the heart of the city, with a safe outdoor playground and large sports hall. We are a fully catered crèche, with all our meals prepared fresh onsite by our catering staff. We provide full- and part-time care for children from 3 months through 6 years old, plus after-school care for children who attend school in the area. Our highl

y qualified and experienced staff offer childcare from 8am to 5.30pm Monday-Friday. In line with the overall YMCA ethos of holistic development in mind, body and spirit, we celebrate childhood through play, creative experience, music, educational exploration, fun and laughter. We are very competitively priced and offer subsidized childcare places for our local community as well as those in the YMCA’s education, accommodation and youth work programmes.

𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲! ☀️🌳

There’s nothing quite like a trip to the local park at St Patrick's Cathedral! Our Room 2, Aungier Street, children had a wonderful time enjoying the fresh air, sunshine and, most importantly, each other. 💚

Days like this are about so much more than having fun. Outdoor experiences give children wonderful opportunities to develop their physical skills, confidence and independence, while exploring their surroundings, practising social skills and building friendships through play.

And, of course, there was plenty of laughter, fun and happy moments along the way! 🤸🛝

A little reminder that all of our childcare services will be closed on Monday 3rd August for the August Bank Holiday.

We will reopen as normal on Tuesday 4th August.

What a great milestone to celebrate as we watch these wonderful children from room 2 and room 7 graduate to their next steps. From their first days with us to this proud graduation moment, it has been a privilege to see them learn, grow, explore and become the confident little individuals they are today.

Their smiles, laughter, kindness and curiosity have filled our days with joy, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved.
As they move forward to their next adventure, we know they will continue to shine. With their creativity and confidence, the future truly is in safe hands. 🌍✨

Summer is all about making memories, trying new things and enjoying the simple moments that make this time of year so special. 💛

Our younger crew have been making the most of the sunshine, spending time outdoors, staying active, enjoying plenty of fun activities and embracing opportunities to play, explore and connect with friends. From creative challenges and puzzles to games, adventures and lots of laughter, every day brings something new to enjoy. 🌿🧩

It’s wonderful to see the children engaged, happy and making the most of their summer experiences — building friendships, developing confidence and creating memories along the way. 😊

And after long days filled with fun, fresh air and excitement, there’s nothing quite like the journey home… two of our homeward bound little campers seen here who clearly had a full on busy day of summer fun! 😴😴💛

Catherine is usually found in our Pre-School Room, but while Marino is enjoying a well-earned break, she's also been lending a hand in the kitchen – proving she's truly multi-talented! 👏🍽️

We'd like to extend a very special thank you to Ruth, Sinéad’s mum, for sharing her incredible baking and decorating talent. Ruth created this amazing cake and brought it in to help celebrate our Room 2, Aungier Street, Graduates!

Not only was the cake beautifully crafted but it tasted every bit as delicious as it looked. It was a true work of art, and the children absolutely loved it. 😋💛

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful parents, guardians and wider family members of our children. We are so grateful to have such supportive families as part of our childcare community. 🙏

And of course a big congratulations to all our fantastic Room 2 graduates who impress us and make us proud every single day! 🎓✨

𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝟮 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 ☀️

This week, our Room 2 children made the most of the beautiful sunshine and the extremely warm weather we've all been enjoying here in Aungier Street! They spent lots of time outdoors, exploring, playing with friends, and enjoying a variety of fun activities in the fresh air.

During a trip to St Patrick's park everyone would have loved a little paddle, instead we all enjoyed the natural shade provided by the trees in the playground, providing a cool and comfortable space for the children to play safely while still enjoying the lovely weather.

Outdoor play provides wonderful opportunities for children to develop their physical skills, build confidence, spark their curiosity, and strengthen friendships. It has been a joy to see so many happy smiles and hear so much laughter as they made the most of the sunshine together.

Our children had a brilliant day out celebrating the end of term and enjoying a well-deserved treat together.

A special thank you to the wonderful team at McDonald's on the Malahide Road for their kindness and generosity in supporting our day out. The children were absolutely delighted to receive Happy Meals, which helped make a fun day even more memorable. 🍔🍟

It is always heartwarming to see local businesses supporting their community and bringing smiles to children's faces. Thank you for helping to make our end-of-term celebration such a happy and enjoyable experience for the children. ❤️😋

𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 💙🕺

We had to share this wonderful moment captured in our Aungier Street child care last week.

Jamin absolutely lit up the room with his dancing!! His boundless confidence and infectious enthusiasm had everyone who was there thoroughly entertained. 👏👏

One of the greatest privileges of working with children is witnessing those magical moments when they feel completely free to express themselves, and Jamin certainly did just that. His joy was contagious, and his confidence reminded us all of the importance of celebrating who we are.

Thank you, Jamin, for bringing so much happiness to our day and for giving us all a reason to smile. We hope this video brings as much joy to all of you as it did to all of us. 💫
