It really felt like Summer had arrived today for our last Come Dines....

First up 9.30am Class everyone just chilling embracing our 'Summer Vibe' theme well done Holly on the ice lollies they went down a treat!!.

Our 10.45am class embraced the 'Colour Theme' both in dress and food very imaginative 😉!!. Wishing you all every success in the upcoming Junior Cert have no doubt all that hard work will pay off.

We then combined our two junior classes as we were mindful a lot were celebrating their Communions today delighted you got the weather!!.

We also were delighted Anna and Harry popped in unannounced today it's always a joy when that happens and the look of disbelief on our juniors when they realised that Harry was the murderer all along 🤣🤣!!.

A massive thanks to Kellie, Georgia and Shonagh who keep me going with their constant love and support my earth angels 😇...

To all our transition year helpers this term take a bow Cadhla, Fiadh, Aimee and Aoife you were a joy.

Jennifer, Yasmin, Laura and Honora who just rock up every week and get stuck in your worth all the biscuits and tea!!!.

All Kindness Box donations and surplus goodies will be delivered to Aoibhneas Domestic Abuse Support tomorrow.

Day 2 Come Dines...

Friday 2.45pm Class kick started our busy afternoon. We were delighted to welcome some Saturday students who can't make tomorrow's Come Dines.

Again Irish Board of Speech and Drama Exam results were shared everyone was chuffed with their results well deserved.

Friday 4.00pm Class embraced the 'Colour Theme' some more than others😅. Again more exam results shared well done all.

Friday 5.15pm Class our boys class played our Murder Game and got a little too involved thought there was actually going to be a murder!!!!!!😅😅

Last but not least my Golden Oldies who have been with me forever thanks for making it this evening am mindful I was competing with a much anticipated Party!!!!.

Again a massive thank you our Aoibhneas Domestic Abuse Support Kindness Box was overflowing with donations.

Until we do it all again in September 🤩

And just like that another term draws to a close.....🥰

We had our first Come Dines today and they were a great success.

First up our Thursday 2pm Class who embraced the 'Mad Hair and Hat' theme 😅. They also collected their Irish Board of Speech and Drama Exam results. Well done all.

Next up our 3pm Class tinged with a little sadness as this is our last day together as girls are embarking on their secondary school journey come September. Those continuing their drama studies we will regroup next term.

Finally our 4.15pm Class what can I say the laugh we had with our Murder Mystery Game if only I could keep up and understand the rules!!.

Saturday 9.30am Class did their end of term Classroom Showcase this morning....

To say the script was different is an understatement!!.... Georgia directed and every week we discovered more about our characters and what it means to live in a world of Us and Them. Powerful interpretation by everyone.

We then embraced Public Speaking everyone spoke in relation to what they took from the script and what society can do to change. The speeches were prepared without any guidance from us and we heard them for the first time this morning. Our audience were impressed as were we outstanding ladies and definitely food for thought...

The weather matched the mood for today's Irish Board of Speech and Drama Exams everyone was shining brightly!!!.

Thank you to our wonderful Examiners Catherine Martin and Anne Mazzoni who showed nothing but kindness and encouragement to all students. Everyone did themselves proud and all results reflect that.

A massive shout out to all who embraced Grade 10 am so mindful it was a challenge but your marks reflect the extraordinary effort, research and dedication you put in. 🤩

When things run smoothly there is always an amazing background team who are always there for me Shonagh, Georgia and Kellie take a bow your my earth angels 😇 and to Rob (Kellies Hubbie!) you are now part of the team thanks for today!!!.

Now all I have to do is recharge myself for the Come Dines....!!! 😉🤩
