Autumn is everywhere!
Our little Wobblers and Toddlers had so much fun getting creative with autumn colours and painting with their little hands.

A Special Visit from Mrs Autumn!

Today we had a very special visitor in our preschool — Mrs Autumn!

She brought us a beautiful basket full of autumn treasures, including delicious apples, pears and other seasonal goodies. 🍎🍐🌰 The children were excited to explore all the colours, smells, shapes and textures of the season.

To welcome our special guest, the children prepared a delicious autumn soup especially for Mrs Autumn. 🥕🥔🥣

Preparing the soup was also a wonderful sensory experience! The children enjoyed touching, smelling, washing, peeling and exploring all the different ingredients before adding them to our soup. 👐👃🥕🍎

They had so much fun working together and were very proud of the delicious soup they made for their special guest. 😋❤️

It was a lovely day full of autumn magic, sensory exploration, cooking, learning and lots of smiles! 🍂🍁🥰

A big thank you to Lara and Sophie’s mums for organising such a wonderful science experiment session for the children!
The children had so much fun exploring, experimenting and learning together — they were absolutely delighted!

We really appreciate the time, creativity and enthusiasm you brought to the preschool. Activities like this are a wonderful example of how special it is when parents and the preschool work together.

The involvement of parents plays such an important role in children’s development. When we share ideas, experiences and time with the children, we create a stronger sense of community and give them even more opportunities to learn, explore and grow.

This week in our group, we explored the wonderful world of oceans, seas, and rivers through our Aistear curriculum!
Our little learners discovered marine life, water habitats, and the importance of protecting our environment. Through sensory play, creative art activities, storytelling, music, and hands-on exploration, children developed their curiosity, communication, and understanding of the natural world.
We created beautiful ocean-themed artwork, learned about sea creatures, discussed rivers and water journeys, and enjoyed fun educational activities that supported all areas of Aistear.
It was a fantastic week full of learning, creativity, and adventure as we dived deep into the magic of water!
