Ringsend College Ringsend College is a Second Level school in Dublin 4 and also has Repeat Leaving Certificate, PLC, VTOS, BTEI, Night School and Adult Education courses.

Welcome to Ringsend College. We are a second level school for 12-18 year olds who go through Junior Cycle, on to Transition Year and finally to Leaving Cert. Ringsend College also has a Further Education section which offers Post-Leaving Cert (PLC) courses in Computer Software and Design. Ringsend College has VTOS courses at QQI Level 5 and 6 in Computer Systems and Networks, Business and Administ

ration. Part-time day course include our BTEI course in Hortinculture at QQI Level 4. Should you wish to complete a hobby course we also have our Night School with a wide range of 10-week courses from Cooking to Motor Maintenance, from Zumba to Ceramics! Our Adult Education section also provides a vital service to those who wish to receive training in various courses.

It is such an emotional day for us at Ringsend College. After 23 years serving the community of Ringsend, the main man, Paddy, celebrated his retirement today.

Anyone who has ever entered our school knows Paddy as the man who fixes everything, the man who always has a smile, and the man who knows you’re having a bad day before even you do. He is a listening ear for all of us, and the one person you never want to let down. He is the essence of what our school tries to be.

Paddy will leave a gap that can never be filled, but we are so grateful for the joy, care and kindness he has shared with all of us over the years. His very lucky family now get to have him all to themselves!

Paddy, we wish you the happiest, healthiest and longest retirement. You deserve every minute of it. ❤️

Last week, some of our senior students got the chance to take part in a fun and engaging workshop with about the assassination of JFK 🇺🇸. Students had a fantastic time delving into the history of the event, which included carrying out analysis of data from the case including gunshot residue, fingerprinting, ballistics and autopsy reports! 📝 🧬 Well done to everyone!
