Sifu Michael O'Leary (Wing Tsun - Blanchardstown) and Michèal Preston (Wing Tsun - Sligo) training together tonight in the Blanchardstown school on the 3rd and 4th sections of wooden dummy Chi Sau. Dave Mulder working on the 7th section of standard Chi Sau while revising the 5th and 6th sections. Sean Mulder and Liam Smith finished the 2nd section of Chi Sau tonight and will start the 3rd section next Monday. Other students working on the 1st and 2nd Lat Sau programs.
Wing Tsun is taught in a progressive manner so that students build upon what they know. Rather than students feeling overwhelmed or bored, we want to make them feel fully engaged.
Wing Tsun is built upon good biomechanics and is a system where all the parts are interrelated and form a whole.
Learn the forms (movements), learn the principles (strategy), combine both as examples of techniques and learn Lat/Chi Sau to hardwire the movements into the nervous system for automatic retrieval.
The next class is tomorrow night in Sligo at 7.30pm.

A little blast from past. To celebrate our 15 year anniversary in 2019, we hosted a multi style charity seminar with the proceeds going to the children's hospital in Crumlin. A big thanks to all those who gave up their time and either attended or taught. Especially those who travelled from far away.

We have done "a little" more work on our website. It's still basic but like Wing Tsun itself it's kept simple. Truth is we are so busy training that the website can sometimes take a back seat. Check it out and let us know of any glitches or typos.
Wing Tsun in Blanchardstown at 7.30pm on Monday and Wednesday evening as well as Sligo at the same time on Thursday evening.
