What a fantastic week we've had at our school camp in Hollystown 🌟💖
The children have been busy getting creative with lots of amazing crafts, loom band jewellery and transforming ordinary boxes into imaginative creations. One of the highlights was making and playing our very own guessing game, "What's in the Box?"📦👀 The children worked together by giving clues while their friends guessed the hidden object from behind the box, so much teamwork, laughter, and fun!
To finish the week, we enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing Spa Day✨ Everyone was treated to cucumber slices, gentle facials, soothing foot spas, and cosy day beds while calming music played in the background. With dimmed lights and a peaceful atmosphere, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.

☀️💦 We are having a wonderful summer in Clonee. The sun is shining all summer long and the children are having fun outdoors. We love to cool off with some water play. We've got our swimmers, towels, sunblock, shade and plenty of smiles. We'll take care of the fun! 😄 We are absolutely LOVING this weather and enjoying making the most of it. We have been gardening, looking after our sensory garden and enjoying the taste of summer treats.

☀️🌳 A Summer Adventure for Our Lucan Schoolies! 🌳☀️

The children had a fantastic day out enjoying a trip to the local park and playground! 🛝⚽🌿
The children loved exploring, climbing, running, playing games and spending quality time together in the fresh air. Outings like these are a wonderful opportunity to encourage confidence, independence, teamwork and, of course, lots of fun! 😊💙

🌍✨ Celebrating Cultural Week at Fonthill Lodge Childcare Parkleigh ✨🌍

Last week, our crèche was filled with colour, music, food and the wonderful traditions that make our community so special as we celebrated our very first Cultural Week.

Throughout the week, our children explored different countries and cultures through stories, music, dance, art and food. We also invited our families to come into the crèche to share their own cultures, traditions and customs with us.

It was incredibly special to see children, parents and staff wearing traditional clothing from their home countries, beautiful outfits often worn for celebrations, family gatherings and important cultural occasions. Every outfit had its own story, and as educators, we learned so much about the traditions, history and meaning behind them. It was a wonderful reminder that learning goes both ways, and we are so grateful to our families for sharing such an important part of who they are.

A huge thank you to parents Kalyani, Nisha and Kritika for taking the time to teach the children traditional instruments, songs and dances from India. Your enthusiasm and presence last week was wonderful. The joy throughout the week was infectious. Children, parents and staff all had so much fun together that by the end of the week everyone was asking the same question... "When can we do this again?" ❤️

We think we may have started a brand new Parkleigh tradition, and we can't wait to celebrate Cultural Week with our families again.

Thank you to our team for this wonderful idea that grew so much as the week went on, and to every family who took part and helped make the week such a meaningful celebration of diversity, inclusion and belonging. We are incredibly proud of the amazing community we are building together. 🌎💙

🌞Making the Most of the Sunshine in Lucan! 💦🌞

What better way to enjoy this incredible weather than with a Pool Party! 🏖️☀️
Our children in Blue Room had an absolute blast splashing, laughing and cooling off together in the sunshine. Everyone enjoyed some well-deserved summer fun! 💙💧

While the children were having fun, safety remained our top priority. We made sure everyone stayed well hydrated, wore their sun hats, had regular sunscreen applied, and enjoyed plenty of shaded breaks to keep cool throughout the day.

Days like these remind us how important outdoor play is for children's wellbeing, learning and happiness. Here's hoping the sunshine sticks around a little longer! ☀️😎

🎓🌟 Our First Ever ECCE Graduation in Parkleigh! 🌟🎓

Last Friday we reached a milestone for Fonthill Lodge Childcare Parkleigh as we celebrated our very first ECCE Graduation Ceremony since opening our doors in March. ❤️

We are so proud of our little graduates. Over the past few months, we have watched you grow in confidence, make wonderful friendships and discover new interests. It has been a privilege to be part of the beginning of your learning journey.

A huge thank you to our fantastic ECCE teachers, Preet, Nayab and Rachel for the care, dedication and enthusiasm they gave to the children every day. Your hard work, creativity, and commitment to the children made every day a great ECCE term.

We wish the children every success and happiness as they begin their exciting journey to primary school. Every child was sent off on Friday with a bubble wand 🫧because they blew us away with their resilience, kindness and enthusiasm. We are so proud of everyone. 💙✨

🎓 Congratulations to Our Pre-school Graduates Lucan 2026! 🎓
Yesterday we celebrated the ECCE children graduating from preschool. We are so proud of all they have achieved, the friendships, memories and learning experiences they have shared along the way.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing team for their dedication, care, patience, and hard work throughout the year. Your support has helped our children grow in confidence, independence, and happiness.

🌟 Gold Award for the Second Year Running! 🌟

We are absolutely delighted to share that Fonthill Lodge Childcare Clonee has once again achieved Gold 🏆 in the Meath County Council Pride of Place Awards for our outdoor learning and garden space! 🌿

This wonderful achievement is a reflection of the creativity, dedication, and teamwork that goes into making our outdoor environment such a special place for our children to learn, explore, and grow.

A huge thank you to Kasia, whose passion, hard work, and imagination continues to transform our outdoor area year after year. Kasia has worked alongside the children again this year, to create a vibrant, sustainable, and engaging space filled with opportunities for learning through play. From our sensory garden and mud kitchens to the mini pond, growing areas, handmade games, music walls, and upcycled creations, every corner tells a story of creativity and collaboration.
The Pride of Place judge commented on the incredible progress made since last year, praising the colourful and practical design, the use of donated and upcycled materials, the focus on sustainability and biodiversity, and most importantly, the involvement of the children in creating and caring for the space.
We are so proud that our mini pond, pollinator-friendly planting, sensory boards, homemade games, outdoor market stall, mud kitchens, growing tunnels, and many other features have been recognised as examples of innovation and excellence in early years outdoor learning.

Congratulations and thank you once again, Kasia, for your commitment to providing such enriching experiences for our children and for leading us to Gold for the second year in a row!🥇🌻🐝

Who is eligible?
