This week is National Childrens Mental Health Week. So in the classroom we will be discussing what it means to you to be kind and thankful. We will be using our curriculum to help the children learn skills to promote positive and lasting wellbeing. We have made an emotions tree in our Monti room and will be using this to help us discuss our feelings.

At home we would encourage parents to talk to their children about kindness, thankfullness and gratitude. Ask them what kind acts did they do, what are we thankfully for today (eg Grandparents, the food we eat etc) Praise your child when they do a 'kind' gesture
