German/Irish Choral Exchange! Join us for a lively and joyful evening of song with renowned choirs - Canbelto Choir, Baldoyle, Dublin and Chor Levantate, Ulm, Germany.

Our friends at Song and Dance Stage School and the CanBelto Women's Choir from which many of our volunteers are drawn are having a Choir Gathering evening with a superb German choir on Wednesday 27th May. Our very own multi-award winning Canbelto Choir are thrilled to welcome Chor Levantate all the way from Ulm, Germany on the first leg of their Irish tour 2026 with a concert in The Playhouse Theatre @ Song & Dance Studios, Baldoyle on Wednesday 27th May at 7 pm.

Expect a multi-genre spanning programme from both choirs. There'll even be some pieces performed together in both German and Irish!

To complete this cultural exchange - Canbelto Choir are planning a reciprocal visit to Ulm in 2027

A great day recently in our new home at the Racecourse Community Centre with final year students from Ballyfermot College of Further Education (BCFE) who are making a 3D animated film called 'Her Song'.

We wish Ben Hyland, Stephanie Byrne, Oisin Brennan and David Byrne all the best and can't wait to see and hear the finished product.

Thrilled to congratulate our great friends and partners in our project, The Music Yard in Larne who have created a wonderful show 'Celtic Heart - A Belfast Story' in partnership with Waterfront Hall and local writer/performer Colin Urwin.
