Healthy tip of the week is about the right cup for the right stages.
During early cup drinking your little ones are laying down important skills like jaw stability, lip, tongue and cheek movement which all helps on the road to talking. This can be encouraged from 6 months and bottles are not recommended after 12 months.
Open cups and straws are recommended for the best oral development and can be introduced early, you can start on open cups by letting them have a drink from your cup when having some water just be prepared for big gulps and lots of spillages.
As your baby gets bigger think about the cup have will it have handles, grips. Will they have a straw or is the 360 degree top the way to go.
