DYO's Summer Chamber Music Courses combine professional music tuition with orchestra, drama, swimming, talent shows, evening concerts and more — finishing with a formal performance in the beautiful St Columba's Chapel.

Calling all violin, viola, wind and brass players!
Our Senior and Junior Summer Chamber Music Courses are filling up fast, but we need more of the following instruments on each course to balance out the groups:
- Junior Course: Wind and brass players
- Senior Course: Violin and viola players
With both residential and non-residential options to choose from, our very popular summer courses offer a fantastic opportunity to combine making music with traditional summer camp fun!
🎵 The Senior Course takes place from 29 June - 4 July and is suitable for secondary school aged string, wind and brass players up to the age of 18.
🎵 The Junior Course takes place from 6 - 9 July and is suitable for primary school ages string, wind and brass musicians from the age of 9.

🎶 Audition time! 🎶
If you would like to join Dublin Youth Orchestras, in-person auditions for places from
September 2025 will take place on Sunday 18 May 2025.
To apply for an audition, please read the FAQs on our website carefully before sumitting an application online. A non-refundable audition fee of €35 applies.
String players music be aged 9+ and wind, brass and percussion players must be age 11+ on 1 September 2025.
Closing date for receipt of applications: Friday 9 May 2025
