Membership Price Increase 1st September 2026

The IJA Executive Committee has approved a membership fee increase from 1st September 2026. The increase will help the IJA continue to support its judo activities and deliver the goals of the Strategic Plan 2026–2028.

Membership fees will increase by €10.00 for the following categories:
Under 12s €40.00
Under 18s €50.00
3rd Level Students €55.00
Over 18s €70.00

From 1st September 2026, new members will benefit from 16 months’ membership for the price of 12 months. This offers great value and is a good opportunity to encourage new members to join. As clubs reopen after the summer break, please encourage members to download the IJA Membership App.

📍Blakestown Community School, Sheepmoor Avenue Dublin D15 F978

🕛Morning Session, Classroom based from 10am to 1pm

🕛Afternoon Session, Tatami Based from 2pm to 4pm

Please note all Coaches and Players are encouraged to attend the Referee & Coaching Seminar, Areas covered will be:

Yuko/No Yuko
Head injuries, causation and prevention
Competition Kumi kata
Edge of mat
Osaekomi Waza

There will be video instruction and practical mat sessions. Participants are required to wear their Judogi for the mat sessions.
