On Sunday 24th January, the campaign to have Stepaside Garda Station re-opened will continue with a Protest at 2.30pm.

WARNING FOR THE NIGHT AND MORNING!

All the estate roads are frozen with BLACK ICE. Unless your car tyres are equipped with snow socks etc. Do not accelerate when leaving the estate, as it will make your car slide on the ice.

I'm sure the council will take care of salting the roads in some form in the morning, but as of now, take care in the roads.

Allow yourself more time in the traffic and use the public transportation if you do not feel competent to drive in icy conditions - Dublin Bus still runs on schedule and hopefully in the morning as well, unless some careless drivers abandon their cars on the main roads.

When arriving back home, DO NOT PARK IN THE MAIN ROADS - this will prevent the salting from happening thus preventing others from getting to work.
