Our latest Get Yourself Online video is here.

It covers how to evaluate information online. How to tell what is reliable. How to recognise misinformation before it spreads.

The video introduces a tool called the 5 W's.

Who wrote it?
What is it based on?
When was it published?
Where does it come from?
Why was it written?

Five questions that build the kind of critical thinking that protects people in every area of their lives online.

If you work in education, community development or support adults with learning, this is a free resource worth sharing with the people around you.

New video every week.

If something in our life is holding us back, it can stop us from reaching our dreams — including learning and opportunity.

At An Cosán, we know that when mothers are supported, families thrive.

Our counselling service is a vital part of our wraparound supports, helping mothers and families overcome barriers and succeed in learning and life.

For 40 years, this holistic approach has shown that change starts with m**s.

What a wonderful morning at An Cosán St. Anne's!

We recently hosted an Open Day giving families the chance to explore the service, meet our staff and learn more about the programmes and supports available through An Cosán.

The room was set up to encourage children to play and explore across different learning areas, with displays explaining each space and the developmental benefits for little ones.

On the day we showcased our wraparound services, the Bia Blasta programme including a hands-on fruit preparation activity for the children, and parenting supports provided by CDI. We were also delighted to welcome Niamh from Speech and Language, who spoke with families about the Chit Chat programme and answered their questions.

It was a really positive and welcoming morning and we loved having so many families come through the door.

Watch this space for more upcoming events at St. Anne's!

The first in our weekly Get Yourself Online video series is here!

We follow Mark as he tries to find a local service online. He types a few words, gets hundreds of results and none of them are quite what he needs. Sound familiar?

When he learns to use better keywords, add his location and apply filters, everything changes. The right results, found quickly, without the frustration.

Knowing how to search properly online affects more than you might think. Finding work. Checking information. Accessing services. It all starts with knowing how to look.

This is the first in our free 5-course video series. New video every week.
