The Institute Principal Yvonne O’Toole recently visited ‘Jack Study Abroad’ in Singapore.

This was a wonderful opportunity to meet with agents, parents and students at the Jack Study Abroad International Fair, at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre in Singapore.

In the photo Yvonne is joined by David Few, Reyn Ting and Tony Blignaut. We look forward to welcoming students from Singapore to The Institute of Education in the future.

Congratulations to 5th year students Roshan Chaudhari, Shaurya Kapoor, Aditya Roy, Daniel Kaminski and Aditya Joshi who were awarded "Most Creative" design by TEDI-London Engineering.

The TEDI-London Thinking Ahead Programme encourages students to learn more about the world of engineering and take part in a sustainability-themed design challenge.

The student’s project "Eco Lotus" was shortlisted and invited to be presented to an industry-led judging panel who awarded their project with the ‘Most Creative’ Design Prize.

As a Thinking Ahead winner, each student will have the opportunity for a coaching session with an industry professional. This an amazing opportunity to gain further insight into the industry of engineering and tap into the expertise and experience of their mentor!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Christmas Fair! The festive spirit was in full swing with an array of student stalls & local businesses showcasing their gifts, crafts or sweet treats.

The event raised €18,625 for Jigsaw Ireland, St. Vincent de Paul and The Embrace Badjao Community.

A special thank you to all vendors, those who donated to our raffles, to the student helpers who generously donated their time and to our Christmas Fair Committee for all their hard work.

December 2023 : Exciting times ahead . Last week I had the opportunity to join our annual sales conference in London with the global Dukes sales and recruitment team.

Having joined the Dukes Family , earlier this year it was fantastic to meet my new colleagues. We united for team building , open discussions and collaboration. Meeting the Dukes team has been an inspiring start to this chapter.

They team then joined us back to Dublin where we introduced them to the vibrant culture at The Institute and our vibrant city.

Here’s to new beginnings, collaboration , learning snd a year of growth.
