This day last year, celebrating 10 years of Bambini. I’m very grateful we had such a wonderful celebration. A very different Birthday this year!
I’ve been thinking so much about all ‘my’ Bambini this week. I miss them all so much and wish they were all still with me. I hope everyone got on well this week in their new schools (at home or outside). Sending hugs to you all! ❤️
I closed and locked the big green door today for the last time. I have been clearing out the school for the last month and it has been so painful. Most of you will know that the regulations have pushed me and my beautiful little school to our limits this year and as a result, Bambini Montessori School is now closed. For how long, I don’t know. In these uncertain times, it may be a year, it may be forever. My blood sweat and tears went into everything I did over the last ten and a half years. I am heartbroken. It was my first baby. I am very emotional today. I want to thank, Clair my amazing right hand woman-to the very end (ie until today!) and all the wonderful staff that worked in our school, all the parents who trusted me with their precious children, and to the amazing children who laughed, learned, played and sang in our school over the years. Thank you x
