🎉 A Huge Thank You! 🎉
We are absolutely delighted to share that our Annual Walk raised an incredible €2,560.61
A sincere thank you to everyone who took part in the walk, supported us along the way and generously sponsored this wonderful event. It was fantastic to see such support from our school community and beyond.
Thanks to the amount raised we can now purchase high-visibility jackets for the entire school complete with our school logo and crest. This will be a wonderful addition for our students and something that will benefit the whole school community.
Thank you all once again for your generosity and support. We couldn't have done it without you!

Our annual walk for Danu Community Special School was a huge success! We were blessed with fantastic weather, a great turnout and most importantly all the children seemed to really enjoy themselves.
A massive thank you to the wonderful staff, all the families and everyone else who attended and supported the day.
Big shout out to Localise for the inflatable costumes & snacks afterwards , your support means so much to us.

A very special shout out goes to our lovely Sile Parsons who organised this tremendous afternoon from start to finish. Thank you Sile for all your hard work and dedication.
Fingers crossed we have raised enough money for our new high-vis jackets featuring the Danu logo. We’ll let everyone know over the next week or two how much was raised.
Once again, thank you to everybody who helped make the day so special. It truly was a tremendous afternoon!

Our Annual walk takes place next sunday in the Millennium Park @12 noon. All monies raised will go towards customs made Hi-Vis jackets for students & staff. Feel free to donate via Go fund me or sponsor a student or staff

Just a little reminder to everyone that our Annual Charity Walk will take place on the 10th of May in the Millennium Park @12 Noon.
We would greatly appreciate anyone who would like to join us on the walk and support our school. If you’re unable to attend you can still get involved by sponsoring any member of our staff or students or by contributing through our GoFundMe link.

A huge thank you to the Clonsilla Inn for kindly allowing us to leave our collection buckets on your counters.

Over the past three years, we have collected over €1,500 through these donations, we are incredibly grateful for your continued support.

The funds raised go directly towards equipment for our school and activities for our students, making a real difference to their experience.

Thank you again for your generosity and support it truly means a lot to us 🙂

At the end of March Danu Community Special School marked the milestone of the official opening of our new modular extension. The celebrations were led by the principal Pat Doolan & vice principal Annie Leddy, parents & staff alongside Cllrs, TDs, members of the Board of Management & representatives from DDLETB. Everyone gathered to acknowledge and celebrate how far the school has come.
The dedication of staff and all involved as well as the sense of pride among the school community was clear to see. Congratulations to everyone who made this possible. It certainly made us all very excited for the completion of the brand new purpose built school.
