Galette des Rois! On Friday, January 30th, Learning Croissant celebrated the last weekend of the famous French king cake tradition. My students learned about its history and the classic recipe, with its delicious filling made from almond powder, butter, and sugar. And of course, the hidden fève was found — and we crowned our queen for the day🥂👸😀🇫🇷

In Hyères, France for the holidays, everything felt perfect: the sparkling Christmas illuminations, the delicious food, the warmth of family, and the joy of seeing my house become more and more my special place 🎄❤️🥂
