Ballyroan was a great place to grow up in and live. So it’s always especially special to meet old neighbours and friends and catch up briefly. One such opportunity arose this week when my neighbour from Ballyroan Road, Padraig Harrington was in the Dáil hosting a Trocaire event. All the Harrington’s went to Ballyroan Boys National School and Coláiste Éanna around the same time as myself. A great Ballyroan Parish family.

Winning one cup is unbelievable. Taking home two is simply out of this world.

A fantastic game between the two sides with so many unforgettable moments

Well done to all and a huge congratulations to all the coaches, teachers , principal and school management team supporting these boys. 👏👏

What is better than one Coláiste Éanna team winning an All-Ireland Final? When the U19 and U16 are victorious and we are All-Ireland Champions twice in one day!

Colaiste Éanna narrowly overcame St. Patrick’s Castleisland 60-51 to win the U16 ‘A’ All-Ireland Schools League final, notching a ‘A’ level double for the school.

🎉All-Ireland Champions two years in a row🎉

Colaiste Éanna lifted the U19A All-Ireland Schools League trophy after a pulsating 50-39 win over St. Aidan’s CBS at the National Basketball Arena. Nathan Comeford led the charge for the victors, with 17 points in an impressive shooting performance from the field.

We are delighted to announce that HOOPSLife Ireland has officially partnered with Coláiste Éanna to build a HOOPSLife Academy in Dublin.

Colaiste Eanna has a very proud basketball tradition and were crowned last years U19 "A" National Champions in the Irish schools league.

We are excited about the potential of this academy in Dublin and with our regional co-ordinator, coach Hillary Nets already taking up the coaching position with the school teams. We look forward to the launch of our academy workouts this Wednesday morning, the 5th of October, from 7:15am to 8:15am.

Academy workouts will be on Monday and Wednesday mornings for all players and S&C workout's will take place on Friday mornings with Declan Berry.

🎪We've got a very special event coming up for later this summer. On Saturday 20th August we will have a mini craft fair at the library plus music from the Rathfarnham Ukelele Group!🎵 Come along and browse the stalls of local crafters and producers while enjoying the happy sounds of ukeleles!! Fair is open from 10am - 2pm, music from 11am. Please share and get the word out!!
