Here at Ferncourt Preschool I offer a relaxed home from home environment, the ratio is 1 teacher to 5 children I believe that this gives me the opportunity to give the children the attention that they need and we are able to fit in lots of art activities and messy play that the children love. I also have an enclosed outdoor play area that is well equipped with age appropriate toys. As a qualified

Hope everyone is enjoying the Easter Break. We had lots of egg hunts we all took turns hiding eggs and playing hot or cold. Wellies are still drying out after all.our muddy puddles. Did the lifecycle of a bee and a chick.

When we were doing our flower hunt last week we saw a worker bee collecting pollen in daffodils. So we set up a bee table. Then today there where 3 worker bees who got caught in frost in the garden they had pollen pockets on their legs. We managed to save 1 by heating him.up in tortoise cage under the heat lamp it was such a child led teachable moment we all enjoyed.

Happy Pancake Tuesday 😋 flower hunt today. Also discovered were Maple syrup comes from the Maple Tree sap in Canada.
