Over the past few years, our school community has faced more than its fair share of challenges. From the devastating events of November 2023 to the ongoing delays and wait for a new school building -it has not been an easy road.
And yet, through it all, our resilience has remained constant. As a community, we’ve not just held onto hope as a vague idea, but as a real, driving force that has kept us going.
To honour that spirit, we’ve come together to create something special. The entire school has learned a short song by Damien Dempsey, 'Hope Calling', which we translated into Irish.
This recording of our school community performing it together, is a celebration of unity, strength, and, above all, HOPE.
We’re excited to share this small but meaningful video and hope it reflects the spirit of our community, and the hopeful future we're building together.
Thank you to all the children and staff who helped bring this project to life — and to Damien Dempsey, whose song has managed to uplift and unite us in song. 'Hope Calling' couldn’t have come at a better time!
