We were delighted to welcome Professor Betsy Sleath to the School of Nursing & Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin today for a joint seminar with Professor Imelda Coyne on 'Bridging Borders and Oceans: Writing a Tripartite Grant Across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the USA.'

Dr Iryna Mazhak, Research Fellow at the School of Nursing & Midwifery, was recently photographed in Trinity College Dublin's Front Square as part of a new exhibition Common Ground: Ireland and the EU which is currently showing at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum.

The multimedia exhibition explores how Ireland has extended its influence across Europe, and how Europe, in turn, has shaped modern Ireland. The exhibition runs until 31st December 2026.

We are recruiting a Clinical Skills Tutor in Midwifery to join our team. The Clinical Tutor in Midwifery will be based between the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin, The Coombe Hospital and The Rotunda Hospital, Dublin.

The Clinical Tutor in Midwifery will support the teaching and learning of midwifery students in clinical practice settings for the Higher Diploma in Midwifery programme and the BSc in Midwifery programme. The role also involves teaching, assessment, and examination of undergraduate (BSc in Midwifery) and postgraduate (Higher Diploma in Midwifery) theoretical modules in classroom and clinical skills laboratory settings.
