The Dunne Academy of Speech and Drama offers an environment to grow the confidence of children through poetry, drama, mime and public speaking.
The Dunne Academy offers Speech & Drama classes to children from the age of 4 years. Groups at our academy have a max of 10 students. This ensures that every child can work at their own pace and to the best of their ability. Our students not only learn performance skills but gain confidence, learn interaction skills, empathy and self awareness.

And just like that our 2026 showcase has come to an end. Every one of these kiddos was a superstar today and I am so proud of them all ⭐️.They worked so hard over the last few weeks and they shone on the stage today. What a year for our school 👏👏! Two fun classes left and thats a wrap for summer 🎭

The Best day for some of our students who took to the stage today at Feis Maitiú 2026. I didnt get pictures of everyone but the biggest congratulations to Harvey, Isla, Pippa, Jojo, Mia, Rosie, Erin, Hallie, Callum, Ruby, Ada, Amelie and Dylan. I could not be any prouder of you all. Not only for your performances but for being so supportive of each other and cheering each other on. I love seeing all your friendships grow ❤️. Its what its all about 🎭!

We got the most amazing news last week that Oisín Behan Daly had been put forward by his examiner for a RIAM Spotlight award for 2025. Oisín was one of the 1st kids to join our academy and is now my 1st student to win this award🏆! We are so proud of you oisín and everything you have achieved as a young actor. Oisín will join the rest of the 2025 award winners at a gala event in the autumn to receive his award.
