Please see below from the RSA regarding change to requirements for those presenting for Practical Motorcycle Driving Test ;

The RSA would like to bring to your attention a change to the requirements for motorcycle driving tests that is to be introduced later this year. These details will be added to the driving test Final Checks letter.

It is important that motorcycle ADI's bring these changes to the attention of their students, so that they have time to check their VRC (Vehicle Registration Certificate) and amend them if necessary.

An example of what will be in the driving test Final Checks letter is:

The VRC must show the power output in section (P.2). If this is blank or if .5555 is shown here, you will need to contact the Vehicle Registration Unit in Shannon to arrange for your VRC to be updated to show the power output of your motorcycle.

If your motorcycle is restricted, you must produce documentation that includes the original full power output along with the new restricted power output of your motorcycle. This documentation will be required by your Tester on the day of your test. You need to make sure that your motorcycle is consistent with any restrictions applied by your learner permit

Grab a place on this if you can, excellent course, very worthwhile!

Places still available for FBoS courses in
Navan with TarbhMCC this Saturday, April 13th and
Galway, this Sunday, April 14th.

If you're interested in attending, please book your place by Thursday, April 11th.

Please note, bookings are only fully secured if payment has been received. Unfortunately we have an ever increasing number of bookings with no payments or any other contact, making it very difficult to organise courses in a more timely fashion for others who very kindly followed the process.

Many thanks in advance ☺️
