🎉 It’s back! Our DC Sounds Band Camp returns for its 3rd year this June.

In collaboration with and , this 2 week band camp is designed for bands wanting to take their career to the next level.

Led by industry professionals, participants can expect:

🎸 Live performance workshops
📝 Songwriting sessions
🎙️Recording studio access
⭐️Live performance at The Grand Social June 30th

Applications are open now for formed bands between the ages of 14-18 years old and based in Dublin.
Closing date June 1st.

🎺 Workshop Week ended with a bang with the Brass Ensemble blowing the roof off Dublin City!

The students of Christ the King BNS and Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin were treated to a very special performance last week.

The ensemble introduced them to the brass family, performed an energetic set and invited some of the kids to be their conductor for the day.

We were delighted to see so many happy faces at these workshops, especially when the band dropped ‘Golden’ as their encore! We might need to invest in some trumpets for our instrument bank!

A massive thank you to the and the musicians for making this special experience possible for the young people of Dublin City. ☺️

🥁 Workshop Week 🥁

It was an action packed morning yesterday for the students of South City CNS and St. Brigid’s SGNS in the .

Samba drumming, singing and an introduction to Gamelan music were all apart of the fantastic workshops provided by the NCH.

We’re delighted to be able to deliver these unique opportunities to the young people of Dublin City and couldn’t do it without the help of everyone at The National Concert Hall.

Perhaps a trip to Carnaval in Brazil or Indonesia for some live Gamelan music should be next?

Last year, Oasis collaborated with on their 2025 FAI Cup Jersey and along with 5 other MG areas, Music Generation Dublin City were very fortunate to be a beneficiary of this fantastic project.

We have worked with Bohemians for several years and we want to say a special thank you to Oasis. With this generous project, we’ve been able to continue our mission of empowering young people through music in schools and youth centres all across the city.

On behalf of all the young people across Music Generation Dublin City (and with the help of 4th class from O’Connell’s Primary) we’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to and for all their support. 🎸
