Over last number of days our students have been getting used to their new phone pouches. On entering the school in the morning each student places their mobile phone in a Phonelocker by Lockerfix pouch which is locked for the day. The students can then unlock their phones at one of the many unlocking stations around the school at the end of the school day

Yesterday morning 4a5 were exploring the Religious history of Lucan village. They met Helen from St Andrew’s Church who kindly allowed them inside to view the beautiful stained glass windows. The trip then continued to view the Presbyterian, Methodist and Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and finally they had time to take a break in the new village centre

Hard luck to our minor camogie team who were beaten in their championship final yesterday. The hopes had a fantastic year and did brilliantly to make it all the way to the final. Despite leading at half time they unfortunately came up just short on the day. Congratulations to and thanks for the great game. Best of luck to all our girls and their clubs in their upcoming Feile competitions

Last week our TY Event Management and Home Ex Department collaborated in hosting a free cooking demonstration by Thermomix. It was an excellent evening with plenty of delicious food all made using the Thermomix🥘🍦 Thank you to everyone who attended the event👩‍🍳 Our TY’s are currently learning the importance of nutrition with our Future Leaders programme so it was great for them to get some tips on delicious nutritious meals🍓🥙”
